With faith in the resurrection, we announce that on February 12, 2026, P. Hroznata Pavel Adamec, O.Praem., a Premonstrat and priest associated with the Premonstrat Monastery community in Želiv, has passed away.

He was born in 1963 in Havlíčkův Brod and took his religious vows in 1990. He was ordained a priest in 1991 and significantly contributed to the renewal of spiritual life after 1989. During his service, he worked in several parishes in the Vysočina region and repeatedly served in Želiv.

The farewell to the deceased will take place during a Holy Mass in the abbot's church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Želiv on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
